As Digital Creative Director at LuxDeco I was responsible for all aspects of how the brand was perceived and interacted with. From smaller projects, like the re-design of internal stationary, up to designing the new responsive site, printed magazines (see project here), iPhone/iPad apps and concepting/Art Directing our shoots.
On starting at LuxDeco my first main challenge was to re-develop the branding. Which involved defining colours, typography and setting a visual tone of voice through brand and photography guidelines. From this base I went on to re-design their (previously non-responsive) site to ensure users had a luxury experience across all devices.
Working with a great Dev team we iteratively introduced features and improved interaction, as well as reducing load times and standardising product photography. The end product is an online presence that reflects the luxury feel and journey users expect from a high-end retailer like LuxDeco.
