Recommendations
Tom has been strongly recommended to me by an entrepreneur when I was working on a project for which I needed a sharp eye combined with a lot of creativity. And Tom was the perfect fit! He’s incredibly talented, a great listener and manages to translate exactly what you had in mind in a wonderful design…while bringing his own touch and inputs that were wonderful added value. It was a true pleasure to work with Tom!

Tom is a designer that manages expectations as artfully as he goes about his design work. He is a great communicator who can distill clients’ needs on the spot and complements business discussions with on the spot UI and UX thinking. I hope to keep working with Tom for many more years!

Getting Tom to help to develop the branding and the web design was absolutely one of the best decisions I made.
Tom not only understood the concept loosely defined in my head, he enhanced the brief and was incredibly patient in responding to my random questions and “ideas” throughout.Tom delivered a top notch design which won and is still winning a lot of positive feedback, which also plays a key part getting new sellers to join us and giving confidence to shoppers.

Myself and everyone at Spark44 seriously love working with Tom. He’s one of the best on a creative and professional level. I literally have a line of people constantly requesting to get him back in so always feel very lucky when we can actually book him. Seriously could go on and on. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Tom was an integral part of our team at Spring Studios. I hired Tom for a period of 7 months to work within the team delivering the launch of a Phillip Lim for Target campaign across the US and Canada. As Senior PM on this project I needed to ensure I had a well rounded creative team who could cover a range of skills spanning across the many deliverables. As the lead digital creative on a project with 80% digital deliverables, Tom was hard working, pro active, and a delight to work with. Tom understands the need to meet client deadlines and was somebody I could always rely on. A delight to work with, Tom is hands down somebody I would recommend to any agency wishing to hire a super talented creative with outstanding digital conceptual skills. It helps that Tom also understands the executional development side of things which helped me ensure all creative was within scope and delivered within budget when it came to the production phase. We would welcome Tom back here at Spring any time.

Tom was a great to have in the team. He was professional, open to ideas and to provide solutions. His work was of a high level and visually great.
Alongside the work, Tom was friendly and good to have around. Would recommend to anyone looking for highly skilled designer.

Tom is not only a fantastic designer, he is ultra reliable and works really hard. I felt completely at ease leaving him to self manage complex projects, and I always knew the work would be done to a high standard and delivered on time, every time – rare for a freelancer in my experience. He was always on time, got on well with colleague and client, and I would happily recommend and/or hire Tom again in the future!

UX Design Team Lead at Usablenet
I worked with Tom on a large campaign in 2011 which had many demands and tight deadlines from day 1 – he was one of only a few people to see the project through the whole 5 months mainly because he is a reliable, consistent, creative and polite person to work with. I have tried to hire him in my teams since but perhaps unsurprisingly he is always in work!

Digital Project Manager at Exposure
Tom is a rare breed of designer who is brilliantly creative combined with a whole range of front end development skills. He is extremely organised and handled the full design responsibility for the e-commerce department, finding creative solutions to every brief given to him but always delivering on time. His ability to translate a brand into online creative combined with his expertise in typography and technical abilities make him a great addition to any department.
Kate Smyth
Director of eCommerce at LKBennett
Tom is a fantastic mix of two worlds that don’t usually blend very well – he is a wonderfully creative Web and Graphic Designer, but also highly skilled in front-end development. His knowledge in both areas make him an extremely valuable asset, hence why I’ve hired him since for more work. With an astute eye for detail, he was able to design and implement a vast amount of work, all the while maintaining control of his workload in a very busy work environment. I could either tell him exactly what I wanted or give him a vague brief, and the work delivered would be of the highest standard and within the time frame specified. His portfolio is really only a snippet of what he can produce – but for L.K.Bennett it included weekly email design & coding, home page changes weekly, editorials weekly, and wireframes for any design changes. He was also a great sounding board while speaking to web agencies, with his knowledge of front-end development and website usability. I’ve really enjoyed working with Tom in the past, and look forward to working with him again.
